About this time last year I was sitting down at my father's house having Sunday meal with my family, my Brother-In-Law Julian was just talking away about this cycle ride, I'm not really noticing what is going on. Next minute II get asked if I like cycling; "yes of course, why?", then I get shown the map; "Aaaaggghhhhh" I thought, thinking that it would be ridden in one go.
Why I thought this, I do not know; for it is not possible for the almost any person to do in one go. Nothing was said for a while. Later it was explained to me what was going on, and how he was planning this, this made me think, "shall I or not?", Then from no where, "OK" I said, not really thinking what was needed. All the time Chris was in the background saying "I hate cycling". So it would be just myself, and Julian on this ride.
A while later I went with Chris to the local cycle shop, and had a chat with the owner asking about his opinion on what is needed, and what training would be involved. All of a sudden Chris says he is coming. He still needed to buy a bike for I quote "I hate cycling"; what fun this is going to be.
