JOGLE Who?

JOGLE stands for John O Groats to Land's End, and is the opposite to the more popular "End to End" endurance event of LEJOG (Land's end the John O Groats). For longer than is plausible people have sought to travel from one end of the mainland UK to the other - a feat which can be accomplished in about 800 miles, but one which many (ourselves included) take a great deal more miles to do.

It has been walked, cycled, even uni-cycled. One industrious chap (at least) has even done it using public transport. It is a journey for people whose response to "why would you?" is either "because it's there" or "why WOULDN'T you?"

Many race to the finish each year to beat some kind of personal (or not) goal, many more view it as a journey to be savored, and many more still do it for charity. We are a mix of the last two options.
